Snorkeling
The Kona coast is famous for its year-round calm, clear, tropical waters. We can take you to uncrowded, unspoiled coral reefs teeming with colorful fish. These reefs are home to vibrant sea life, including Hawaiian green sea turtles and other sea turtles often seen gliding through the water.
Kealakekua Bay and the Captain Cook Monument are always a highlight on our daily snorkeling tours. We provide all your snorkel gear, including a selection of prescription masks, flotation devices, and a warm, fresh water shower and towel when you’re ready to get out of the water.
Dolphin or Whale Watching
Set sail and visit our local residents in their natural habitat. During the right season, witness the awe-inspiring sight of whales breaching the surface or playful dolphins racing alongside the boat. Guests often spot dolphins riding the wake of the boat as we cruise across the Pacific.

Amenities
When you’re on the Moana, you won’t need anything other than a change of clothes and a light jacket if you’re sailing at sunset. Your charter includes towels, reef-safe sunscreen, gear for water sports, fishing, a hot shower, and everything you need to make it a memorable experience.

Stand Up Paddleboarding
We keep two soft-top Stand Up Paddle Boards on the boat at all times. It’s great exercise, and you can explore the shoreline. We just ask that you don’t venture too far from the boat. The best part is that since you can stand at full height on your board, this gives you a unique vantage point to see a reef turtle coming up to catch a breath or even some of our resident dolphins cruising the Kona coast.
It is another fun way to experience Hawaii’s clear waters and reef life.
Food & Beverages
Enjoy a taste of Hawaii with a selection of local pupus and refreshing beverages. Our standard menu includes tropical fruit platters, veggies with hummus, poke, sandwiches, and freshly sautéed fish or shrimp during our sunset cruises.
The Captain’s Bar offers local beers, fine wines, bubbly, crafted cocktails, juices, sodas, and sparkling water. Enjoy your drinks while watching the sunset stretch across the horizon.
